Cinema Project - Harold Lloyd
Large sculptures were made in association with children of year 4, 5 and 6. Each sculpture was used to make
impressive displays in a central learning area for each year group and were then used as a stimulus by
teachers to carry out cross curricular work around the theme.
The Year 4 theme was 'silent cinema'. As a development of this project I worked with Year 4 to design
and construct 3 large heads of famous silent film stars.

Each child designed their own scroll top to a column and worked as a team to produce the large columns.

Superheroes Project - Year 5 - 2012
Star girl was designed by a Year 5 Pupil and then made up by other Year 5 pupils.
Skills learnt included pattern and dress making, sculpting and sewing.
Spiderman was sculpted and painted and applied to a mirror wall in a stairwell.
